Kidstruction Zone - Privacy Policy

We take the protection of your data seriously. Sometimes we need to collect personal data to provide the service you expect, and when we do, we will explain clearly what we’re collecting and what we intend to do with it.

What personal information we collect?

When you fill in the contact form, the site securely processes and stores what you enter, and emails it to us. We will use it to respond accordingly, archiving correspondence just like you would expect any responsible company to do.

If you register to or attend a Kidstruction Zone session, we (or the leader of the session) may ask you for the personal information they need to register your child and contact you about future Kidstruction Zone sessions. We and the leader will be responsible for storing and holding your information securely and it will not be transferred elsewhere.

When you visit this website, the server and website security software may process and store your computer’s IP address (which contains approximate location information) within the scope of the law, to prevent unauthorised access, ensure the website works as intended and to enhance your user experience. The server deletes these logs after 4 weeks.

Cookies

Your experience on this site will generally be cookie-free. There are just a couple of exceptions.

If you view any GoogleMaps links or view embedded content from another company, that content will be clearly flagged and you will be asked for consent to allow the third party to set cookies. If you agree, a cookie will be set by us to log this consent, so we don’t have to bug you every time.

When you make a booking or register to attend a session, a cookie is saved to indicate that you have made a booking or registration to enhance your user experience. No marketing or tracking data is shared with anyone else.

How and where your data is stored

The website uses a securely encrypted connection to transfer any information you submit, and stores it in a database on the server, which is based in the UK. We take server backups regularly which are stored, encrypted, on a back-up server for up to 30 days. We use secure passwords to protect all the data on the website, and do not share access with anyone except when necessary with those who are directly responsible for providing the hosting and other services the website relies on.

Disclosing your information

We do not sell personal data to anyone. We only share personal information when it’s necessary to do what you have asked us to do, or if we are legally obliged to.

Access to your personal information

You have the right to know what information we hold about you. If you complete our contact us form and ask, we will be happy to:

  • tell you what information we hold;

  • tell you why we are holding it;

  • tell you who it could be disclosed to;

  • update it if it’s inaccurate;

  • remove it (unless there’s a legitimate reason why we need to keep it); and

  • let you have a copy of the information in an intelligible form.
